Civic Social Media Packages

Through our social media services, Civic Webmasters helps cities and towns use social media as effectively as possible. One problem city administrators face is that a civic Facebook page (for example) isn’t like a personal one; it requires a higher level of management and interaction to really get the job done. You and your staff may be on social media personally, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you want to be running social media in towns. Frequent posts, engaging content, keeping up with best practices—those things take time, and we know that you and your staff are busy enough as it is! To assist you, we’ve developed social page setup, support, and management packages to fit your city or town’s specific needs. Implement an effective social media communications plan and avoid the social media negatives.

Social Media Services Pricing

This online course will be for civic leaders who have the time and inclination to manage their civic social media themselves but recognize the need for training in order to do so more effectively. The course will feature:

  • Access to self-paced online course content, including how-to videos and homework assignments
  • Phone/email support by the Civic Webmasters social media team throughout the duration of the course
  • Free social media graphics
  • Social media report cards for your organization

Social Media Page Set-Up Service

  • Establish branded Facebook and Twitter pages, including professional graphics and best-practice settings (we will either create the pages from scratch or update existing pages to reflect professional standards)
  • Add graphic buttons linking web pages to your civic website (website clients only)
  • Link Facebook and Twitter pages
  • Create a branded graphic signature for administrators and faculty to use in their emails

Cost: one-time fee of $500

Add Instagram and/or Pinterest set-up: $100 each or $150 for both

Social Media Management: Basic Communication Package—Facebook

  • 3 Facebook posts per week
  • Content taken from newsletter, website, civic calendar, and one-on-one email communication between civic personnel and page manager
  • Photos/graphic images to go with posts, including custom graphics
  • Posts from Facebook will automatically push to Twitter. We will not work Twitter as separate platform but rather an extension of your FB page.

Cost: $150.00 per month

Additional FB posts available; Each add’l post/week = $12/month

Social Media Management: Communication Plus Package—Facebook & Instagram

  • 5 Facebook posts per week (all FB posts push to Twitter)
  • 5 Instagram posts per week (some posts will push to Facebook)
  • Posts featuring content from newsletter, website, civic calendar, etc., as well as programs, staff members, etc. We will generate some content, but we’ll also expect one-on-one email communication with organization personnel
  • Photos/graphic images that go with posts, including custom graphics
  • Focus on building community on social pages and responding to comments and actively engaging with comments/users on Facebook and Twitter, including posting and commenting on other people/organizations social pages to drive awareness and build community

Cost: $250.00 per month

Add Twitter management: 10 tweets per week in addition to posts that push from FB = $75/month

Premier Social Media Management Package —Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & Pinterest

  • 5 Facebook posts per week (all FB posts push to Twitter)
  • 5 Instagram posts per week (some posts will push to Facebook)
  • 10 tweets (Twitter) per week (in addition to posts that push from FB)
  • 10-15 pins (Pinterest) per week including pins that drive traffic to school website and highlight unique programs
  • Posts featuring content from newsletter, website, school calendar, etc., as well as programs, faculty members, etc. We will generate some content, but we’ll also expect one-on-one e-mail communication with school personnel
  • Photos/graphic images that go with posts, including custom graphics
  • Focus on building community on social pages and responding to comments and actively engaging with comments/users on Facebook and Twitter, including posting and commenting on other people/organizations’ social pages to drive awareness and build community
